Shaykh Abdul Nasir Jangda was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 10 began the road to knowledge by moving to Karachi, Pakistan, and memorizing the entire Qur'an in less than one year. After graduating from high school, he continued his studies abroad at the renowned Jamia Binoria and graduated from its demanding seven year program in 2002 at the top of his class with numerous licenses to teach in various Islamic Sciences. Along with the Alim Course he concurrently completed a B.A. and M.A. in Arabic from Karachi University. He also obtained a Masters in Islamic Studies from the University of Sindh. Imam Tom Facchine (fuh-KEEN-ee) converted to Islam in 2010. Altaf Husain is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and lives currently in Northern Virginia with his wife and children. Ismahan is a fierce advocate, community organizer, motivational public speaker and an unapologetic Black Muslim Somali refugee woman who is passionate and relentless in working for justice and equity. In 1992, Ismahan Abdullahi and her family escaped war-torn Somalia to have a life of hope and opportunity in America. This experience has shaped her to advocate for and work on building and strengthening Muslim and refugee communities in San Diego for over a decade where she served as a board member for multiple local community-based organizations and institutions, including the Islamic School of San Diego, Islamic Center of San Diego, Huda Community Center and countless others. Shaikh Fariq Naik is the son of the world-famous orator on Islaam and Comparative religion, Dr Zakir Naik.
